We would like to inform you that, due to the National Highways bearing replacement works on Jubilee Way in Dover, we need to place an outbound Abnormal Load embargo for enabling works to be completed on pier 3 (outside Arrivals).

These works are complex and due to the nature of lifting works and space constraints for cranes and MEWP’s, Dover port will be required at times, to have lane closures and restrictions in place.

For the following period, we will be unable to accept any abnormal (out-of-gauge) traffic shipping from Dover to Calais (in this direction only):

03:00 GMT 19 November 2021 to 18:00 GMT 25 November 2021

Any abnormal shipments travelling from Calais to Dover will be unaffected.
